I have bought several firearms from Academy without any problems, after searching around and found tht Basspro is usually about $100 more for exact same gun. It seems your also paying for their name as the majority of their items are higher priced. As for the previous review, I have also returned several items and they have never refuse to take the items back. Academy is my for choice for shopping and hope no one misjudges them after one bad day.

I would definitely use another sporting goods store. Over the last 4 years I've had to make a return 3 times and every time was given a lot of trouble despite having my receipt. This time, I walked in the door and the "greeter" took my bag and literally THREW it over to the service desk. I handed them the credit card it was charged to and they refused to place a credit onto the card. Most places don't even need the card to charge back.......They did offer me a "store credit", but I'd rather eat the money than buy anything there again. Anyway, they are overpriced. Just watch for sales at Dicks, Sportspectrum, etc around town. Buy if you will, but don't ask for a refund when it doesn't fit/work/breaks.
