I've braided hair and have had my hair braided by many over the past 20 years, none have done a better job. I've received more compliments on how natural my braids look. Many compliments occur during the 2nd month near the time I'm about to take my braids down. They're really good at what they do.

They are good with hair. I never leave the store disappointed.

It's hard to find a good black hair braiding place in North Seattle, Awa does great braids. I got Micro (individual) braids that actually lasted three months, and VERY affordable. The only thing is the store is small and don't have a big selection of human hair, or other random items you'll find in beauty supplies in the south end. But it's walking distance and I love having a beauty supply that close to home. If you want great braids at a low price (under $200) and/or regular hair products( not a large selection) Awa's is a good place.

i went to awa beauty supply about 2 years ago three times good place to go they do hair on sight the hair and service all in one spot i plan on going back and also awa is excellent she has a growing hand for hair.

When I first starting going to Awa, my hair was thinning and dry. She grew my hair out. She braids gently. I love her weaves!! She started weaving my whole family. My sister Simone and Leslie. Thanks Awa!! Kim :)

pretty good selection of ethnic hair products. i got a hair piece for about 30 bucks, a little expensive but i guess thats the going rate. lots of colors and hair types, relaxers, and a little salon in the back. i plan on going back soon!
