Sherburne-Earlville Middle School is a public school that provides academic education to students in grades six through eight. The school enrolls more than 400 students and is a part of the Sherburne-Earlville Central School District. The school s curriculum includes English, mathematics, language arts, science, social studies, and foreign languages with a choice in French or Spanish. It also offers physical and special education, and has a career development and occupational studies department that provides postsecondary and technology education, and exposure to industry-specific technical skills. The middle school also offers basic computer courses, such as Internet applications and Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Sherburne-Earlville Middle School has a library that provides a large collection of curriculum books, periodicals, referral sources and computer workstations and access to the Internet. It also provides various sports activities, such as football, field hockey, basketball, baseball, cross country, bowling, wrestling and swimming. Additionally, the school organizes various extracurricular activities, such as dance, drama, band, chorus, Christmas programs and musical concerts. The middle school is located in Sherburne, N.Y.
