We have been at TLC Montessori for 2 years now, going on 3, and we couldn't say more wonderful things about it! It is a small and intimate environment that gives children lots of 1 on 1 attention. Students explore and learn everything from science and math to language and reading skills well beyond the normal preschool/kindergarten level. We will be starting Kindergarten at TLC this year and can't wait for our youngest to join the preschool program as well!

Not the best for the money

It is VERY small, located in the basement of a church. However the atmosphere is very welcoming for 3-4 year old girls. Yes, they do accept boys, however, their mission statement should be "seen and not heard." If you have a normal, intelligent boy with active interests, this is not the school for him. You would do better to seek out a publicly sponsored pre-school. The time devoted to kindergarten activities seems to be minimal and it is more of a "free-range" pre-school with very little if any organization or structure with activities to make the parent feel good (i.e. sign language and or spanish once a week) more than addressing the child's real academic needs or desires. The teachers are currently unable to provide structure and discipline evenly and fairly to all students. Since they have only been open a short time (almost 2 years) perhaps they will improve. The tuition is exorbitant for the product they currently deliver.
