They need to be closely watched as they do the installation. They missed installing a gate in one paddock, despite my detailed sketch, and the measuring was poor. All the openings for the gates are larger than the gate, by about 6 inches, and they can't fix that. The fence is of good quality but they will leave all the left over trash behind.

Do not use their fence painting contractors the paint will fall off

They provided us outstanding service, workmanship and value. Our 4 foot dogear wooden fence was smashed in this summer's storms. We got 4 different estimates from recommended companies in the area. Shuck was nearly $600 less than the next best estimate. They were on time and performed the job quickly and efficiently. We couldn't have asked for better quality. Would most definitely use Shuck again.

Shuck Fence has done my fencing for 2 horse farms - one in North Carolina and one in Wisconsin. One had 24 acres fenced into 9 pastures and the other 40 acres into 10 pastures, all with 4 board and painted. They did a super job and I highly recommend the company. Ask for Bobby as your crew chief; he is the best.

I have used Shuck for several years. They have built several miles of both wire and board fences as well as painted several miles of board fence and seveal farm buildings for me. They do a good job and are reliable. Most importantly, they do what they promise.
