I have to disagree with the previous post, I have brought my children to Dr.Shah previously and things went very well!! The staff was great! Everyone worked together starting with the front desk talking to my kids and explaining what was going to be done. The assistants did a little show and tell type thing will all of the instruments that would be used during the procedure so that nothing was a surprise. I was a little nervous at the very first visit about the kids going in back by themselves but it turns out they did way better without me, they did way better than they do at the pediatrician. I would recommend this office to everyone!! Thank you for a great visit!!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN.... first you never meet the dentist.... you are not brought to the back where they work on the children unless there is a problem.... on our very first appointment they advised that if needed they will have you sedate your child and they will restrain while they work on them.... my son does not do well with being restrained in the least bit and I advised of this but was pretty much blown off.... on the 3rd visit my husband advised that our son was not looking forward to it... my husband advised the assistant of this when she came and got him and that if need be maybe we should reschedule... the assistant blew him off and said it will be fine.... not long after another assistant came out to advise that the next appointment my son will need to be sedated and restrained... while going through her discussion my husband heard our son SCREAMING in pain.... when he asked if was our son the assistant said she would check then started talking to another set of parents.... my husband interrupted for her to go check cuz if it was our son then he needed to be calmed down and if it wasn't then he may still need be calmed down (because nothing gets kids more worked up then hearing others screaming and crying) sure enough it was our son and finally let my husband back to calm him down.... my son has sat and had blood drawn our of 2 arms and 4 shots in one day and never cried or fought so this was a complete shock and heartbreaking.... but he tensed up and fought whenever they came near his mouth... after the work was done (well not completely done) and my husband was holding and comforting our son the assistant made a snide remark about his pain tolerance.... needless to say we are never taking our son back there and highly recommend that no one ever take their child there
