Burlington Foreign Car Parts, based in Shelburne, Vt., was founded in 1973 with a van and some Volkswagen spare parts. In 2002, BFCP purchased Plattsburgh Motor Service, which was primarily a domestic parts distributor as well as a Dupont automotive paint distributor for the Northeast region of New York. BFCP provides a periodic delivery service to almost all of Western New Hampshire, Vermont and Northeastern New York. Local deliveries are made from all its six locations throughout the day; five days a week from Berlin, Rutland and White River Junction, and six days a week from Plattsburgh, South Burlington and Shelburne.
