Ever since they got bought out by a for-profit company they have gone down hill. As far as the rent-a-doctors, oops, I mean hospitalist, it is bad too. Makes it better for PCP's, because their workload is a lot less, but as far as patient care, it sucks! Don't tell me a rent-a-doctor, can come in and read your chart in 2 minutes, and that makes him as knowledgeable, as your PCP, who you have been going to for years and built a professional relationship with. Sorry, but that just doesn't make since and that is why so many hospitals have had so many issues with patients getting infections. This brings up another pet peeve, lol, 99% of the custodian staff in hospitals do not take pride in their jobs. Don't believe me, just observe how quickly they are in and out, when cleaning a hospital room!

This hospital has gone way down hill this past year. We are just so fortunate that we could get my Mother out of there before she died of yet another infection. The staff was not friendly, took up to 1/2 hour to come to your aide after hitting the buzzer. My Mom managed to pull her IV out accidentally blood everywhere and no one answered my call for help. I even had to clean up the floor cause no one came to help. Never saw a doctor, it is run by hospitalists and her regular PCP would not visit or return our calls, cause THEY were in charge. Each time we came in was a different story as to what the course of treatment was. I hope we never have to see that place again. STAY AWAY

Rude nurses. They either just don't care about their patients or are highly unskilled and know nothing. Rude ER nurses too. I wouldn't go here if I was dying!!
