Great staff!! Wic is an awesome way to save money on formula and babyfood for your baby til 12 months and milk and eggs and cereal and juice until 5 years old. Especially if your child is nutritionally challenged then this program can help you afford the foods your child needs to grow appropriately. They have a nutritionalist whom you meet with every three months It is such a needed program and offersso much for families. It is a great supplement to your foodstamps to let your food budget dollars stretch even further.
Definitely go and see if you are eligible. Its not an entitlement program but if you are eligible it helps enourmously. Pregnant woman.. go as soon as you get your BFP result. Waste no time as they help you throughout pregnancy and breastfeeding too. If you are breastfeeding this program is still for you and gives help with babyfood and suplement babyfood as well as breastpump if needed. It only takes 15 minutes every three months. YOu even get some money to purchase fruits and vegetables every month along with the summer program giving you more checks for the local grown markets. ALl in all a winner program. Its made a great difference in my family and can do the same for yours.
