Discover Travel contacted me for a 90-minute orientation. I travel a lot so I drove an hour in heavy traffic, arriving 4 minutes late for the 3:00 meeting and was rejected at the door, not being allowed to attend. Arriving, the door was open and a woman was talking to the presenter. They hadn't started. Two people in the lobby said I couldn't enter the meeting. I said, this is ridiculous, if you let me in I can certainly catch up. "That's not how we do things. There's a form to fill." I said, "I'll fill it in the meeting." "We can't let you do that." I said, "I can fill the form in a few minutes. It's a 90 minute presentation." They both began talking over me. Then the man said, "We can give you a free gift." The woman said, "No gift." I said, "I don't want one, I came here for the meeting." "You can come back at 5 pm." I said, "I can't do it at another time." They continued insisting I coudn't enter the meeting THEY INVITED ME TO ATTEND. Their instructions don't mention being late.
