My girlfriend was taken here and spent the night in the ER/ICU. When she arrived she was wearing a brand new, quite expensive Columbia jacket that I purchased for her for Christmas. By the time I got there a couple of hours after she was admitted, the jacket was nowhere to be found. We made several trips to the hospital to talk to staff and check the lost and found to no avail.



Today I was finally able to get in touch with someone from their customer relations and they told me they don't offer reimbursements on anything and that patients are responsible for not bringing valuable belongings with them. SHE WAS UNCONSCIOUS!



If she was wearing the jacket when she arrived and they put her in to a gown for treatment, somebody must have taken the jacket off at some point, right? The only logical conclusion I can come to is that it was stolen by someone on the staff. I am sorry that you can't keep a close enough watch on your employees and their wrongdoings, but she should not be the one to pay for this establishments poor customer service.
