Dr. Shin is excited to be serving the region she calls home, and looks forward to partnering with her patients to provide the best care possible. In 2016, Dr. Shin joined Bux-Mont Gastroenterology, which became part of the St. Luke’s University Health Network in 2019. After receiving her Medical Degree from Temple University School of Medicine, she completed her residency in internal medicine at Albert Einstein's Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY, where she then served as the Chief Medical Resident. She returned back home to Philadelphia in 2012 for her gastroenterology training at Temple University Hospital, completing an additional year of training in neurogastroenterology and GI motility. Dr. Shin loves all aspects of general gastroenterology and hepatology with a special clinical interest in women's health and GI motility. In her spare time, Dr. Shin enjoys music of all genres, trying out new recipes, and most of all, spending time with her husband and two beautiful girls.She is excited to be serving the region she calls home, and looks forward to partnering with her patients to provide the best care possible.
