Once a year my family travels to the Bodega Bay area for a mini family reunion and this year we stumbled across a new family favorite. California Carnivores!!! The day we found it, they happened to be closed. My cousin, who was heading back to South Carolina early the next day, was very disappointed that they were closed. He decided to go up and ask them if we could come in a just look around. He figured it didn’t hurt to ask. Sure enough, to our surprise they agreed. The guy working there was wonderful. He walked around with us and told us about the different plants and how they worked. It's an amazing place with some really unusual and amazing plants. We must have gone back at least 3 times after that day. I highly suggest a visit. You're going to want to walk out with of there with something. Maybe just a Venus fly trap, maybe something truly unusual, but it will be something.
