Dr. Meehan seemed great at first, simultaneously relaxed and perky. So I trusted her when she repeatedly assured me that my newborn's near constant screams and discomfort were normal ("babies get gas") despite repeated visits. She told me she had babies with pneumonia and other serious conditions in the office, referred me to a lactation specialist for a milk supply problem I didn't have, made me feel like I was crazy (something along the lines of "you're trying to be super mom and just stress...
