I work near this parking lot and am not impressed with service they provide compared to the price I pay. In the past I paid $9.76 for their early bird special for a full day of parking, which wasn't too bad. My employer at the time was paying for my parking if I could provide a parking ticket. The Diamond parking ticket vending machine at this lot was low on ink for nearly 8 months; the tickets it produced were so low on ink that they were unable to be read and I was unable to be reimbursed for my parking during this entire time, as the date and time were impossible to read. As a single customer I am certain that my contributions alone would provide more than enough to cover the cost of an ink cartridge.. At one point during this time I was issued a ticket for parking slightly crooked in my parking spot, even though all 4 of my tires were within my confined parking space. Diamond Parking has now jacked their rates up to $10.99 for their early bird parking. On my first day of paying the new rate I was unable to receive a ticket or receipt for my purchase; the person in line ahead of me at the tole booths also received no ticket.. I have now completely given up on Diamond parking and have found alternate solutions for affordable parking. I was paying nearly $200 a month at the time i have dropped their service, and would not recommend this lot to anybody body in the South Lake Union area.
