About Atwood Atwood Adhesives was founded in Seattle, Washington, in 1946. This company was acquired by Adhesive Products, Inc in 1953 and is a wholly owned subsidiary. Atwood specializes in water based adhesives, as well as protein cake glues and hot melt adhesives. The production line has expanded in to the manufacture and sale of many types of glues, adhesives, and coatings for packaging, product assembly, graphic arts, theatrical, woodworking, paper converting, and many other applications for the business and consumer markets. We also manufacture and sell packaging tapes, custom printing tapes and adhesive coated labels and tags for a myriad of applications.
