The Roadhouse has become our new favorite dining spot. It is immaculately clean and the food is amazing. The dcor is beautiful and don't let it fool you the prices and very reasonable. The wait staff is very friendly and professional. Our waitress is a locally know young lady (Kayla) was very friendly and got our food and drinks delivered in a very efficient manner even while having 8 other tables to wait on. She still managed to make us feel like we had her full time and attention, even when my wife was having a hard time deciding on what to order! She was very helpful recommending a few items and answering all our questions. I love the fact you can see into the kitchen, it's always nice being able to see who is cooking your food! We will definitely be back! Where tourist bring in money in the summer it will be locals like us that make small town business survive in the winter. As far as the negativity goes, there are some people who can never be satisfied just ignore it!

We felt that the staff was courteous, the food served, good, and the price fair. While I would like to have a bit more room to chat in private, it is just not feasible as a rule. We live nearby and are pleased to have the opportunity to support that local community. We believe, given the chance, it will improve in time, and be even better. For those of you that are totally negative, maybe YOU (and you know who you are) should consider this: try operating a business such as this in a small community and we'll find out how you do! Searsport is one tough town to make a go of anything! If you were not born here, you are not readily, if ever, fully accepted, as part of the neighborhood. I commend the individuals for making a go of it, and wish them well in their endeavors.

It was good to see the place open again so I decided to stop in and support the local business. We ordered burgers. Not many choices on the menu but it is the off season now so I can understand that with it being so slow. Not sure if they got the right ideas with this place but I do wish them the best. Sadly not much going on with one other party besides us and not the kind of food I was hoping for.

I am fromCamden,Me., and i saw this restaurant being groomed for the opening. I had been looking for a place outside of Camden to go to dine and was very excited when i walked in to the Roadhouse. I was amazed at the transformation by the new owners, Tom and Janis. The place looked fabulous and inviting and i loved the new look , the bar area was comforting, the seating was very comfortable, and i had a lot of room to eat, no one was arm to arm next to me. I also loved the photography that was nicely displayed in eyes view. As for the food, my friend and i were very impressed. She mentioned right off,m that the fish was excellent and the portions, good, i loved my warm spinach salad , as it was very generous. the manager was very pleasant , the waitstaff, excellent and overall, i give it *****. I did not have a dessert, because the meal filled me up completely.

Went with a burger - not too many choices on the menu. Wasn't happy with the food and gently let them it. Didn't offer to fix it but I didn't push it either.

We were a little worried after reading the reviews but decided to check it out anyway and were very happy we did. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the staff were extremely friendly. The menu is limited but the service was very good. I had the chili bowl and the pulled pork sliders. They were very delicious and I recommend both. Don't let the name scare you...this place has great comfort food at a reasonable price. I will definitely be back.

Ate there today and will definately go again. Portions are large enough to satisfy even a grown man. Most of the menu is priced around $7 to $12 with some items being a bit more but all are very much within a family budget. Menu offers something for everyone, hearty eaters to strict dieters. I had the steak bomb which was excellent and sampled the chicken alfredo from a friend's dish and it was equally good. The wait staff was friendly and professional. The facility was clean and the decor is easy on the eye. The room has been divided in a way that creates sections of many small spaces rather than a sprawling open space. I really loved that. The next time I got I've promised myself the Spam dish on the menu. Really, when is the last time you had Spam. Can't wait! I highly recommend this restaurant. I they do this so well in the first week I can only imagine it will get better.

Ate there last night (Wed). Nice atmosphere and they are trying. Service was SLOW and the waitress was very inexperienced. (the owners mother??). They are trying to be too upscale for the area. Cloth napkins, real glasses (to small and too much ice). Prices are a little high for the area. They have a huge bar with no one sitting at it. Tables are small. Portions are average to small. I had an average burger. The turkey dinner was good..real turkey...but pricy ($16). I heard complaints about the salmon being small and the waitress said we want you to fill up here and not take anything home. Must of been a trained response. Overall...C at best. They need to get bigger portions, better service and better prices to beat out the local competition. Anglers has nothing to worry about.
