It was also designed to project the physician as one who keeps ahead of their time by offering the latest technology. We view the patient scheduling process as the heart of any medical practice. This important process has been long overlooked in the development by practice management software. Scheduling is the entry point for the patient. Here initial demographic, insurance and health information are all gathered. Rather than becoming an adjunct component thrown in by a billing or EMR program, Eppointments strives to become the leader in scheduling software. Our philosophy is to be the best scheduling software and interface with other software programs who are the leaders in their field. This gives the physician the opportunity to choose which components will work best for them, allowing physicians to move in and out of software components easily and at minimal cost as new needs arise. Taking advantage of the Internet, Eppointments allows convenient and time-saving patient access to the medical practice. We have developed a one-of-a kind scheduling software package that allows patients to complete all of their demographics and health history online. At the physician's discretion, patients may also make their own appointments online. In addition to our state-of-the art scheduling system, we also have developed an additional software component called Patient Tracking. This component of our software allows the back office staff and physicians to easily see the schedule for the day and which patients have been placed in a room.
