This review is based one installation. The sound in this auditorium is awful. With a single person speaking the sound is best described as booming - heavy on bass with very little crispness available to discern articulation of speech, in other words, it is very difficult to tell what is being said unless you listen very carefully. Because of the poor sound quality it is very fatiguing to listen for very long. Music reproduction is a disaster, the sound is very much like an AM radio turned up too loud. Vocal music is lost in the boom, you can see the mouths moving, but the words are completely lost. The acoustics in the auditorium seem to be pretty good due to the fact that when the microphones were turned off, the person speaking could be heard perfectly. Our kids deserve better than this, this seems to be a case where the job went to the lowest bidder. Until the school district can afford a real sound system, maybe Valhalla could go back and tweak things a little bit (or a lot).
