Worst haircut ever!!! So I had this initially posted (on a few sights) but was threatened with litigation from an Illinois attorney (Justin London) if I don't remove the posts due to a few choice words I used.... Apparently I'm trying to harm his business for informing the public of bad services I received. So I removed the posts (my husband recently died and I've been under extreme duress) but re adding them with said choice words removed. Wonder why Hair Nirvana has no bad reviews???? He will threaten to sue you if you give him a bad/yet honest one... So here's my review, with a few alterations to appease his attorney.... I WILL NOT be silenced....I decided to try a different stylist since the one I normally see is always booked. It's been quite a few months (5) since I've gotten a haircut because my husband was going thru chemotherapy and money was tight. My spirits hasn't exactly been the best so I thought Hair Nirvana, with the whole Buddhist like vibe would be a nice place to try. So it's starts out great, Vee (real name Vern) gives me what seems to be an honest consultation and I explained to him EXACTLY what I wanted done (though he had no idea what a scoop was!?)...then the cut. At first glance it seemed nice. It was multilayered as I had asked and it was neatly styled. I've never really cared for the way anyone styles my hair so I didn't give it much thought. It wasn't until I got home and took a good look at it that I realized he had BUTCHERED my hair! Not just butchered. I liken it to a Joan Jett prison/dyke cut! My family likened it to Elvira, mistress of the dark haircut. It was THAT bad. Either he's completely *********** or just a ****. I'm thinking both!!! Thanks for helping my self esteem that much more during this difficult time in my families lives. You suck Hair Nirvana!!!Also to note, when I had my hair fixed at another salon (in CA). I was told (by the stylist) the back was completely uneven and it's still growing out back to where it was 5 months later!!! I have a natural colic which he (Vern) cut to less then an inch short!?! I filed a complaint with the state board of cosmotology which dismissed the case without even allowing me to testify. That's life in AZ for ya!!!
