Professional and on time. He helped us decide what size pool we needed to fit our backyard because we had some prior issues with our town getting a permit to install our pool. Did a very good job would recommend them for doing your pool.

Stay away! They made a mistake on my pool installation and didn't do what I asked. I was told "too late, that's the way it is now!" I couldn't believe it! This guy actually bullied me into dealing with whatever he did! He acted nice until the first sign of a problem and then his true bully came out. From that point on three of his other mistakes are now something I have to live with.

If you get a pool from American Sales or any other pool dealer REQUEST A DIFFERENT INSTALLER! Anyone other than Mackey would be a better choice! Know your rights!

Pool installers did a great job putting up our above ground swimming pool. Fast and efficient, just in time for some back yard summer fun! P.S. If you're thinking of doing this yourself (which I have before) don't, because it's not as easy as they make it look.

Perfect job, great installer. Friendly, on time, answered all our questions and even had some great suggestions about the space in our back yard and pool placement that allowed us to get a bigger pool than we thought we could fit! This guy installed our parents pool and that was 25 years ago and it is still going strong and they loved him. They have had Mackey's install replacement liners for them over the years so he was our 1st choice when we decided to get a pool for our kids. Plenty of experience with this installer, solid reputation. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I bought a used pool from a friend of mine and had Mackey's take the pool down from one house and install it at mine. They did a super job matching the pool up to our existing deck in our back yard, looks perfect and the wife is happy, which means I am happy too ;) Pleased with the entire job from A to Z.

we needed a new wall skimmed attached because the one we had was leaking around the outside and down the outer pool wall. He came out with an assistant and all seemed well. Then when it came time to pay him, he told me $10 more than we agreed on over the phone. I went ahead and paid it because I just finally wanted a wall skimmer that didn't leak. Well 5 hours later when we filled up the pool, lo and behold it was leaking around the edges and water was dripping down the wall. I called him back and he accused me of filling our pool too soon. No way. Finally after arguing with him he agreed to come fix the mistake, no need to lower the water level below the leaking skimmer, he will come out later that day, which was a good thing since I was off work that day. Well guess what, he never came; rather, he came the next day (obviously early) when my husband and I were at work. All he did was put some sealant around the perimeter of the skimmer (against the outer pool wall). Sure that stopped the leaking on the outside, but what happened is that water was still getting around the skimmer plate and BETWEEN THE LINER AND THE POOL WALL. Now I have a rusted mess and a leak in our liner, so we are up for a new liner, and wall work around the skimmer opening. WE WILL NOT USE MACKEY NOR DO WE EVER RECOMMEND HIM! Know your pool, friends, and do your research.

Yes they did a very good job installing our pool. They were highly recommended by the place we bought our pool from and they lived up to all our expectations.
