I have a house built by Masullo Brothers in 2003.
The house has defects when it was built. The supporting beams were not protected carefully and the siding had knife cut/holes which lead water leaking inside. With years, the supporting beams were eroded inside while outside seems fine,

Multiple experts inspected the house:
(1) Town Building Department Director
" I think there was a leak that allowed water to get behind the siding and pool there.
You will need stamped plans for replacement of the beam."

(2) Two building inspectors said the damage last many years.

(3) Engineers said
"From your last photo it appears the water damage above the garage door was due to a hole or cut in the vinyl siding."

(4) Masullo's long time contractor said the siding work of the house was bad.

EXCEPT the beam, ALL THREE porches Showed similar way THAT fully rotted at the bottom INSIDE OUT and i have to replace all of them.
