Went to Dr.Sklar for a hammer toe and a bunion. Being 58 years old and a runner I was concerned with recovery, Dr. Sklar said to set reasonable goals for this year but expect a full recovery. My surgery was 2/9/13 and on 11/9/13 I ran the Disney Wine & Dine 1/2 marathon in 2:02:39, finishing in the top 10% of all finishers, top 14% of my age group, and top 20% of all male finishers. I guess that was a reasonable goal and result? Thanks for a job well done!
