i have been bringing my cars in for repair to Cal Sr. since 2008. He won't replace things on your car that you don't need just to make a quick buck. He's someone you can trust.

Rip-off place, I got an estimate for $2,500 and fixed my car for $579.00 at a different place and got a free loaner. I was changing oil there for a while and trusted them. I showed their estimate to a different place and they were laughing, 1/2 of the services were not required. IF YOU NEED A CHEAPER OUTSTANDING PLACE, LET ME KNOW via email [email protected] In addition, owner's son was talking nasty about me to dealership's owner. I will not be a returning customer.

After spending over $1,000 at Cats, and having my truck barely start and run roughly, I was rudely told "it is an old truck with HIGH mileage (only 107,000 miles), "that's how it is supposed to run." They were eager to sell me more parts outside of warranty, which did nothing to help improve the running quality of my vehicle. I have mechanical automotive knowledge, and was treated rudely by Mike when I attempted to articulate the vehicle's problem.

Today, I went to another local shop that was able to diagnose and fix the problem for less than $100. The part that Cats installed had an internal issue causing poor performance. I was sold additional parts unrelated to the initial problem (new spark plugs, wires, & distributor). I will not be returning Cats.

An shop your "FATHER" would approve of

These guys are great. I brought in my 91 Geo that had a puddle on the inside of my car on the drivers side floor board. The oily yellowish stuff was dripping down from behind where the wires of my radio are. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by one of the guys behind the counter named Mike. He asked me what had brought me in here today and when I told him what the problem was he said, "Sounds like it might be the heater core. Let's get it in and take a look." He took the keys and had the mechanic pull it in right away. He explained what the heater core does and why it needs to be replaced. He even drew a diagram when explaining why I had the puddle in the first place. He went out to the shop a few times to see what the mechanic had found. It was my heater core that needed to be replaced. Since the repair I have had no more puddles, my heat works great and I found people I can trust! Thanks Cat's Auto! And thanks Mike for all of your help!

Dissapointed

Had a brake job on a standard Chevy S10 where all they had to do is replace the brake hose. There are two connections, one to the engine and the other to the back near the gas tank for the brake hose. When they repaired it, they hooked up the connection in the back correctly but in the front, they were too lazy to actually hook it up to the engine. INSTEAD, they cut the hose off to where they could reach it and joined the new with the old with a compression fitting (something you ONLY use on fuel lines). Over time (couple months), that fitting loosened and started leaking fluid everywhere and almost cause me to have an accident because I couldn't stop. Laziness, poor service, high prices, and overall lack of concern are the reasons I negatively reviewed you; Cats Auto Repair.

I am a female that has had previous bad experiences in other repair shops because they treated me like I did not know anything and talked down to me. I felt like this experience was professional and they treated me like I was a customer who had choices.I would recomend this company to anyone who has had a bad service experience to see what its like to have good service!

This auto shop is not such great, unless....You care more about wifi internet and leather sofas than quality of work. Be prepare to do some "adjustments" after visiting them.Have your tools ready after coming home. After doing timing belt and ater pump year ago....I had to repalce bypass radiator hose, tigthen clamps, adjust drive belts etc. The mechanic was to lazy to drain coolant completly from the radiator.Seem to be small staff...but really frustrating.

Excellent work

Cal at Cat's Auto repair is proficient in all makes and models. I have taken my S-10 truck, as well as my Honda Accord to his shop. He has been able to fix(on the first try, I may add)all the problems that my vehicles have had. Excellent work at reasonable prices.

Consistently Good Work & Service

A very good place to use for a single visit or if you're trying to make your car last a few more years. Our family have been taking our Honda Accord and my old 1996 Ford F150 to these folks for several years. We've never had to take a vehicle back to them because something wasn't done right the first time. They've always clearly explained any problems. They've explained to us the options for repair or service, with the costs and the effects depending on our choice. There has never been any pressure to make one choice over another. We've obviously been very satisfied with them and will continue taking our vehicles to them for everything from basic maintenance & tires or major repairs.
