Scarsdale Middle School, a part of Scarsdale Public Schools, offers educational opportunities to more than 1,000 students in grades six through eight. The school s core curriculum includes English, math, science and social studies. Scarsdale Middle School also offers instruction in art, music, French, Spanish, health and physical education, and family and consumer science. It provides special education services and coordinates the English as a Second Language program. The school offers a range of extracurricular activities, including art, guitar and debate clubs. Its student organization sponsors school dance programs and talent shows. In addition, Scarsdale Middle School organizes a variety of sports activities, such as field hockey, cross-country and volleyball.
