Buffet was just OK, ordered chicken pot pie, took 25-30 minutes to get serviced. Disappointed crust was thick and filling was to little. Buffet needed to be checked and service more often.

I had the delicious southern buffet. Paula Dean (and sons) is a place where you can experience that comfort food she has made famous. There's also a very nice gift shop carrying a lot of PD's products. Hope I get a chance to eat here again.

not what it is cracked up to be.

Over priced food for Golden Corral quality. No southern charm as you would expect from Paula Deen. Do yourself a favor and choose somewhere else to eat while in Savannah

The chicken pot pie was excellent. Yes it is expensive if you get sea food, but the scallops were awesome. The buffet is also very satisfying. The fried chicken is tasty as are all of the other goodies on the buffet. Everyone who helped or served us were fantastic. Been back seven times.

Good Service

I want to start by saying that the service was great! Our waiter, Travis, was very nice as were other waiters from what I could tell. The food was decent, but that's about it. In my opinion it wasn't worth the price we paid.

Not very impressed

I had my heart set on dining at The Lady and Sons restaurant in Savannah while on my honeymoon. I made reservations that morning and was really anticipating a wonderful dinner. My cup of she crab bisque soup was very doughy and did not have a lot of flavor. The crab cakes tasted burnt. I did however enjoy the black beans and rice. My husband had a salad and tilipia served over a bed of rice. He was not very impressed either. The highlight of my meal was the homemade lemonade, however refills are not free. My husband said the Key Lime pie was alright, but not spectacular. I did love the decor and the atmosphere, though. I might give this venue another chance when we return to Savannah for a vacation. For the price, I would recommend Ruth's Chris Steakhouse.

lady and sons

we were in Savannah and tried Lady and Sons restaurant and loved it. The food reminds you of what Grandma would cook and the atmosphere is cheery and pleasant. We also met Jamie Deen and he signed our cookbooks

Outstanding!!

In visiting Lady & Sons for lunch on Sept. 9th I found the buffet to be outstanding. The sweet potato yams were out of this world!!! The staff was most frindly and great and all that would be expected in Paula's restaurant. The gift shop next door was fabulous as were Jamie and Bobby who autographed their cookbook and had their pictures made with all of us silly old senior ladies. This was a trip in lifetime for me. I would love to go again!
