I'm amazed to read the previous comments. Steve rebuilt the engine in my 1974 Triumph TR6 over a year ago. Since then it has run like a new car. In addition, while in the shop it has become obvious that many others, including some well respected people in sports car racing trust Steve to do their work. Unfortunately, postive comments often don't get posted.

Take my car up there for a 2nd time to work on issues that the car had as soon as I took it out of the shop (under warranty)- while the car sat up in the shop it developed an oil leak from power sterring (the car did not have one drop of power steering fluid leak when it went to the shop), then the starter motor went - all in the last week I was supposed to go pick up the car - cost? $1000!!!!!!!! 7 hours to change the power steering seals. Steve (the owner) would NOT give me a written warranty but kept saying "I promose you wont have any problems"...

I park the car overnight, in the mornign the whole garage floor is covered in power steering fluid - and the starter does not start right - every 4th or 5th try it sounds like a grinding wheel in your engine. His answer "these are old cars"...!!!! Now I know if I take this car up to him again and he agrees to work on it, my eingine is going to blow up while in the shop and I will need an engine rebuilt!!!!! This guy is a true con artist.

Avoid this guy (Steve) and his shop at all cost - rebuit my XKE engine last year - I went to pick it up after 3 months of him workign on it - sit in the car to test drive and the A/C goes out, then the car over heats...all my gages go out!!!!!!!so a car that had absolutely no electrical problems was given to me with a slew of electrical problems. He kept saying "that is what you get when people keep rigging wires in the car"!!!! Since I had dragged my friend 230 miles to Sarasota and could not afford to leave the car behind again I decided to take it.....As soon as I got home the car Leaked oil like there is no tomorrw (puddles). I call him He says "it is a British Car - they all leak oil"....what a crook!! The car looses a quart of oil a week from the seals. He was kind enough to leave at least 3 dings and 2 pot marks on the car while in his shop and he does not even make the least amount of effort to protect your interios. This guy is an all out crook.
