Do not believe the "buyer beware" review below. I was the prospective buyer in that situation and the seller is mad about a number of issues that had NOTHING to do with Southern Sanitary's performance. Southern Sanitary performed two thorough inspections and I am very satisfied with the work they did. They were empathetic, thorough and came out for multiple inspections to check their work against the seller's false accusations.

BEWARE!!!! Rip off artist. This company came out to a home we were selling and did a 10 minute test and said tank needed to be replaced due to tank leaking. Called second company out, they actually pumped the tank and did thorough inspection and testing and found the tank and drain field were in great shape with no leaks. Manager said to bad use the other company from now on. After talking to others about it I hear the same story from 4 other people of the same company with the same scam. If you use them just be ready to replace your tank no matter what.

We're building a privacy wall around our pool, as the workers were digging for the foundation they found a septic tank near the pool equipment we didn't know was there; we needed it removed from our property ASAP. We called a few companies and Southern Sanitary Systems sent out a rep and gave us an incredible quote that day. We hired them and they obtained the necessary permits and had it done within 2 days!!! They were professional and orderly, as I watched them it came to mind they worked together like a symphony, smooth and well practiced. The gentleman who ran the backhoe used it as if it were his own hands, he never touched a pipe. After they completed removing the tank and filling in the hole it looked almost as if it was never done except for the loss of grass. The property was graded and ready to sod.It could have been a very anxiety producing process but the workers performed with such confidence I had no fears. I HIGHLY recommend Southern Sanitary

Southern Sanitary did an amazing job at my home. They came out to empty and abandon my septic tank in a very professional manner. The crew brought all the needed equipment and personnel to get the job done in a timely and efficient manner. They cleaned up after they filled in the hole and even put in grass seed where needed. All at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend this company. Thank you to all who completed the job.

Fast, professional friendly service.

My septic started backing up into my tub and toilet late at night. I called Southern Sanitary the following morning at 9:00 and they had someone out by 11:00. Dale pumped the tank and made sure everything was flushing properly before leaving. He also took the time to answer my many questions. True professionals from beginning to end.

I had brown water in both of my showers and my toilets were backing up suddenly on a Friday night. I called SSS and they got here early the next morning. Gary located the septic tank easily and educated me on my tank. The drain line was clogged and he didnt mind staying longer until everything was right. This company was fabulous!

I got GREAT services from SSS. The front office girls are very nice and called the technician who called me right back. The front office called me back to make sure I spoke with the tech. The tech got there and explained everything to me. He was VERY professional and knowledgeable. GREAT EXPERIENCE! Will definitely recommend these people to everyone!

We have used Southern Sanitary for many years and they have always done a good job! Extra care was taken to replace the rocks and it was very appreciated!

We were all jammed up when SSS came to the rescue! Great service from Donny who was very professional, courteous and got the work done rather quickly to our relief! Would not hesitate to recommend your company to friends and family. Thank you.

My house in Venice was clogged. Called SSS and they promptly sent out AL to do a septic pumpout. He pulled out a HUGE mound of roots. System drains like new. Very professional service. Al went above and beyond. Would I use SSS again? Only when I have another plumbing problem!

From an email received in office 2/14/14: "Wanted to say how pleased we are with the service we received last Saturday when our septic system problems occurred -- things stopped up solid and immediately. I was puzzled as to why we would have trouble, as we had just had the tank pumped out exactly one year ago (was not happy with that service at all). Turned out that the inlet to the tank was clogged, which was taken care of by your tech (Gary I believe) after pumping out the tank. What a great guy - give that man a raise!! Thanks so much for taking care of us -- you're definitely on our 'will-call' list for any septic system problems, and you will definitely be recommended to others. M&T

After getting a few quotes to put in a new septic field at my house, I chose Southern Sanitary Systems. Their price was $800 less than the next quote. They also installed a new field for my neighbor. Both were done one time and perform well. I recommend this company. (They also spread the extra sand/dirt in some low spots in my yard at no extra charge.)

We just had our septic tank pumped out. The receptionists were very pleasant and Lisa was extremely accommodating to our business hours. The worker they sent out was Very professional and extremely pleasant. We would highly recommend them for all your Septic needs.
