This store sells inferior products and does not stand behind what they sell. They neglect to tell you if you purchase a motor from them that if you don't have it installed by a licensed electrician the warranty is null and void, I should say THEIR licensed electrician, because if you don't use their subcontractor they null and void the warranty. If you do it yourself it negates the warranty as well, so go ahead, spend the $200 for a motor that is not warranted if you install it yourself. You would think they would tell you that if ANYONE other than THEIR subcontractor installs the motor the warranty is null and void, not so. So we purchased a motor, husband installed it and it lasted 5 months. I paid another company to uninstall and install the motor from Pinch-A-Penny and this motor did not work. Now I have three service charges. If I would have brought the second motor back to the store they would have blamed the person who installed it and null and voided the warranty. So instead of paying for another installation charge I wound up purchasing a new motor from A-1 Pools who stand behind their products and services. Jim went above and beyond to make sure their was nothing wrong with our pool. Kudos to them, after 7 days of messing around with an inferior product from Pinch-a-Penny I now have a great working pool. I would not recommend this store to anyone, ever.
