Mr. Tapley is an excellent craftsman. His his end product speaks volumes of his craftsmanship, professionalism and quality. He repaired a 250 year old text for me with serious issues and repaired it to my satisfaction as well as increasing its worth beyond the cost of the repair.



He is clear and thorough with the explanation of his services at the time of the estimate and reviews it with you at completion. His costs are more than reasonable for the degree of quality, although the value added may depend on the value of your text. As a collector of antiquarian books, I would highly recommend Mr. Tapley and look forward to working with him in the future.

We met Mr. Tapley when he volunteered his time and money to teach marbling to our son's sixth grade class.

Naturally when I needed a Memory Book for my mother and father's anniversary I asked him for help.

I can't tell you what a beautiful job Mr. Tapley did for us and how much it means to us all.

The State Library recommended this wonderful craftsman to restore my family Bible after it was damaged in a flood. Mr.Tapley not only saved my family history but helped me to duplicate the entries so that I could give copies to relatives and I'll be forever grateful to him. When I left the work I saw on the wall of his shop awards from the American Institute of Graphic Arts for Book of the Year in bookbinding and the Degolyer Prize, America's most prestigious bookbinding competition. His work is a blessing to our family!

These bookbinders were able to help my dad maintain our family photo albums when nobody else could or would even try. Thanks to their work my parents' wedding album is again enjoying a place of honor in our home.

Tapley Bookbinder did a wonderful job restoring my Family Bible. I had feared that it was beyond salvage but Tapley restored it to glory and usefulness, a treasure I will be able to give my grandchildren. His work is truly a blessing.

The 'review" by Guest74394 is a complete and total lie. I have never worked for this man, I have never even met him. He can have no receipt, no invoice, no proof of payment, no evidence of his charge, nothing except his lie. He is a coward and criminal hiding behind anonymity. About a year ago he called me and tried to extort me. When I refused he threatened to "ruin" me and hung up. About two weeks later I received a complaint he filed from the Better Business Bureau. I of course discussed it with them, told my story, pointed out his extortion attempt (which they were inadvertently assisting him with), and when he was unable to provide evidence to back up his complaint it was dismissed. HE IS A COWARDLY IMPOTENT LIAR AND FRAUD AND BULLY AND I CHALLENGE HIM TO PRODUCE PROOF OF HIS CLAIM. And SuperPages collaborate in his crime. I demand they provide proof or enforce their Terms of Service and delete the lies. Thank you, James
