Mr. Harris was the rudest businessman I have ever dealt with. We rented a vacation unit from him that was disgusting. We went to his office to alert him to all the things that were unacceptable in the unit and rather than taking the information down to give to the owners, he became rude and arrogant. A reputable business person would not have even taken the listing until it was ready and acceptable for renters - but he did. The bed was disgusting, tiles missing in the ceiling, electric stove burners broken, stained bedding and on and on. He was not even willing to listen. We had heard other renters prior to us were also unhappy but he denied that. So, on and on it continues where these owners will collect the rent to unsuspecting people. If I could give a no star rating for this company, I would.

I am writing to tell you to NEVER RENT your vacation home from Vic Harris or SIESTA KEY HOME AND CONDO RENTALS. We had a contract for three months and the rent was paid in full, but then Siesta Key Home and Condo Rentals cancelled our contract two weeks before our vacation. We were given a full refund, but no other compensation even considering the facts: it is August, we have two dogs, need a canal front (for kayaks), and it is only two weeks away. We ended up spending 1/3 more and paying cash for our new rental. As well as that, she wanted me to feel bad for her because she has to cancel some other contracts as well, are they kidding! I will never do business with Siesta Key Home and Condo Rentals and suggest you don’t either. The rental agent and owner of the business as well as the owner of the home are all crazy to think it is normal or acceptable to break signed contracts that have been paid in full. Look elsewhere for sure.
