Gulf coast ballet has Become my family. this experience could not be better. The classes are small which is great to have individualized attention, and fantastic technique. The girls are trained in classical ballet, contemporary ballet, neo classical ballet, pas des deux, pointe, modern, and jazz. All of the students have exceptional roles in the performances, that you could not get at any other studio. We are a very family oriented environment, and everyone is treated like a part of the family. If you are looking into ballet, I strongly recommend gulf coast ballet, because this is an unforgettable experience.

This is THE BALLET SCHOOL in Sarasota for extraordinary training in a warm, nurturing atmosphere. Director Denise Lose, whose teachers included the great ballerina Suzanne Farrell, turns out professional-caliber ballet dancers. Her students have been selected to attend summer itensive programs in such major ballet companies as Boston Ballet and American Ballet Theater. All of the carefully selected supporting faculty members have extensive performing experience in professional ballet companies. Children in the school have numerous opportunities to perform, both in the school's winter and spring performances, in community events, and in in-studio performances. The charningly-decorated studio is a home away from home for all of the students, both children and adults. I have studied with Denise Lose for seven years and she has always been supportive and encouraging.

Absolutely the best training ground in SW Florida: personalized training, lots of individual attention - from strong and experienced (but kind and capable), instructors. The performances are enjoyable and well-done and the learning opportunities unsurpassed. You will not find a greater value in ballet education in Sarasota or the outlying communities.
