This place is as 'crooked' as it comes. New Balance Sneakers for 19.95? The prices are the most expensive of any Goodwill. This afternoon, Aug. 15, 5:10pm, My husband got caught in a downpour heading there. A man at the door said. "I don't want wet boxes." My husband pointed out that a lot of it was glassware. that could be dried off. The guy goes through the boxes, comes across wet books and says: "I think we're done here." My husband drives a truck and was working in the heat on my Mom's Siesta Key home. We understand not taking the books. But to refuse it all? I didn't even want to drop it off there, because I have heard the man discussing with another man about how much things are worth. It's more like an e-bay shop, than a Goodwill. Some of my Mom's stuff was typical fare, but there were treasures in there. We just don't have the room. He judged by my husband's appearance. He was arrogant. "We're done here." Yep, we're done there. But not done reporting this bad Goodwill.
