Have visited China 1 several times. Looking for the menu tonight, noticed that Google map shows the location on Tamiami Trail, but really it is about 200 yards east up Gulf Gate Drive. Glad I knew where I was going. Anyways, had Kung Pao Chicken. Delicious. Wonder where they got those huge mushrooms. And just spicy enough. Service was real quick, and not expensive. The owner - Mr. Liu - tells me that his ingredients are super fresh, and that is what makes his restaurant stand out. and it does! Rick Greene, Sarasota, Fl.

Great people and great chinese! We will continue to order from them and now we've got our friends hooked. Try the fried potstickers and General Tso's Chicken! Also the Eggdrop Wonton soup is yummy!!!!!

Not happy with Chinese food in Sarasota area. We've tried several places and China 1 is the best thus far. Quick delivery, good prices and pretty consistent.
