Dr. Tonia Shatzel: You need this vet in your life! Our family (two legged and four legged) have had the wonderful experience of her knowledge and compassion for our pets. She has always made herself available to me to answer any questions I may have - even at crazy hours of the day. I, personally, am not "medically minded" and "Dr. T" was patient in explaining the conditions in question where I could fully understand what was wrong with my pet. Not only did I "get it", she helped formulate a plan that would work for both me and my newly rescued dog. I fully believe had it not been for her patience with me (and my Gizmo!) the transition of my dog into our already established pack would have been overwhelming. Unfortunately for us, Dr. Shatzel has moved to sunny Florida to look after those "Lucky Dogs" of South Walton. I have no doubts, however, she will always be a phone call away should I need her. Don't delay, folks! If you want the absolute best for your pets, she's the one you want.
