I kept debating whether to chime in given that low review. But I decided that I should not be selfish and keep this place a secret. Connie is so terrific. She can be rough around the edges, but she absolutely loves and is devoted to the dogs. I've been going here for over 12 years. I get the feeling that she likes me, but she absolutely LOVES my dog. LOL. I tried to take my dog somewhere else (due to convenience) and the second time we went there -- my dog would not have it. My dog runs into the Mutt Hutt as if she arrived at a party. That tells the entire story. I constantly get compliments on her cut (she's a Pom), the price is too cheap to be honest, and Connie will also cut nails also if you want. Sorry that person had a bad experience on the phone, it is a local business and she is doing the cutting and answering the phones often times, so she was probably wanting to get back to the dog she was working on.

The one low review I've seen here is probably based on the fact that this shop is always very busy and in demand! My dogs love going to Mutt Hutt so we drive 30 minutes to get there. They\ pups are always beautifully groomed, clean, and relaxed when I arrive to pick them up, to the point we call it "spa day."

I always use dog gone gorgeous but this time I called this mutt hut and a lady I'm assuming the owner answered the phone. I explained the type of dog and said I was looking for a deshedd type of thing. She rudely said "I told you what I got do you want to make an appt or not" so I told her I was going to wait she said OK and hung up on me. If ages this rude on the phone I'm not leaving my dog with her!!!

Love this place... they were so good to my very old and nervous dog.. I highly recommend them.

Take appointments, and provide service on time. Seems like they really like dogs. Not to say my dogs like getting groomed, but they seem to take care of them there, and they do a good job.
