Once I had dropped off over 35 items. After picking them up, I went home to discover one item was not mine and one shirt was missing. I went to return the item belonging to someone else. To this day I am still awaiting a compensation and an excuse for my lost shirt. Which should not be difficult since these business are insured against this type of mishap.

New Method Cleaners here in Santa did a remarkable job on a 50 year old school parka that had been stored for an extended time and subject to water damage that caused a great deal of mold and mildew. It was thought to be permanently ruined by some, but when I got it back it looked like new. Remarkable !!!

After 2 years of business, New Method damaged my leather jacket. They stuck the inventory pin through the leather. After numerous attempts to contact the owner, the shop staff offered to try to fix the jacket by sending back out to the leather subcontractor. When we got it back the jacket was still not clean (water marks), and there was fading and wear damage on top of the two holes previously mentioned. Owner still refuses to contact us after several letters and phone calls. I recieved one angry phone call from the leather sub, but he should not be contacting me since I have no business with him (although I did provide the information he requested). After 2 months still no contact from the owner, we now have to proceed with a law suit. Never use a cleaner who is not authorized to do specific work. If they have to send out leather do not use them for leather.
