We had a blown head gasket on our outback. They were able to fix it and replace the timing belt for much less than the dealership down the street, and we thought we were lucky to find them. As soon as we got it back, we realized that the repair had produced a large oil leak. There was also some damage to the components under the hood, mostly cosmetic but an indication that they don't take much pride in their work. We were told by Mike that it would cost more to repair the oil leak than the original repair. Just a little over a year later, other oil gaskets they put in have started leaking, damaging the timing belt and requiring another replacement of the same belt. The required repairs would cost much more than the car's bluebook value. The car is ruined, when it should have had at least a few more years left in it.
