I was nervous about taking my puppy to the groomer for the first time, but it was a great experience for myself and Lucy everyone was so kind. The owner told me exactly what she was going to do . Lucy is ready to show off her new look at my grandsons kindergarden show n tell. I will definetly go back. Thank you Gloria Marquez!

I have been to every groomer in Santa Fe and some in Albuquerque and I am soo relieved to have found Barks & Bubbles...they were so kind and professional and the place was not clean but spotless....my dog was in a great mood when I picked her up and I had to pick her up to get her to leave! They were great to us and I have to say it is the best money I have spent on my dog!

I could hardly believe how disappointed I was with Barks and bubbles. Not only did they do a mediocre job, but they charged us 60.00 for our little mini long haired dachshund. Crazy!! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone...

I tried Barks and Bubbles after asking where all the beautiful dogs in town were coming from....WOW!! I could not have had a better experience! I do have to say that I do love how particular the owners are about the caliber of pets they allow as I love it that my dogs get to play while there. They are very up front that they work for the dog and not the owner and I did see Sherry tell an owner that it was not safe to let the dogs bite the clipper and that she wanted it to be a pleasant experience for the pet always....some people don't like that I am sure but I have to say I was and am thrilled!

She and her staff of groomers did an unsatisfactory service for me. After about six or seven grooming sessions at Barks and Bubbles, they required my little 15 pound dog be sedated before coming back. My little dog lost his eye during Katrina and is a hurricane survivor from a neglected background. He experiences terror during unknown situations and Sherry and her staff would receive him with much displeasure and no smiles, only misgivings. After the six or so visits, they required that he be sedated before coming back. I brought him sedated with a veterinary pill and that was not enough for this shop. They next required an injection. I gave up at that point. Sherry the owner of Barks and Bubbles classified my 15 pound one eyed Katrina survivor dog as "violently agressive". In addition, I found the owner Sherry's mood to be questionable and the whole shop has a mood of unease. Nice facilities, however and if your dog is a perfect dog you can try her shop. Sherry has
