RIP OFF and SHADY company. Don't bother going through them.

I called Drain Doctor back in December 2013 for water leak which I paid $450. After they came, they didn't have parts, so they went to Home Depot to pick them up. Then they worked on it and fixed it. Up till now it was fine and pretty satisfied even though I wasn't happy about the charge of $450. Now, there is leak in same place and it's been 7 months. They said they can't do anything as the warranty was only for 6 months and I thought it was for 1 yr. Then when I try to talk to the guy over the phone, he starts arguing with me. Now they want another $650 to fix it. The company is shady and it's rip-off. Right after 6 months, the leak starts to happen. Their work can't be dependent on and can't be trusted. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

Classic Case of Denial of Service

I had a leaking flush supply joint. So I called Drain Doctor for a plumber. The first thing he asks me is who's going to pay. So, I told him it's going to be me.

He didn't even go down to have a decent look at the connection; he first said oh I can't fix it now it has to be tomorrow. I told him I'm not available then. Immediately he says if I want it fixed, it is going to be $395 to replace the leaking joint. Thank you very much Drain Doctor for not wanting to work and waisting my time.

January 2016, My friends, one lady over 80s years old, had a toilet drain clog and completed stopped. She used Drain Doctor Inc, One man came and tried Cable, it didn't work, and they charged more than $400 for that work. They told my friend that there were serious problem about the drain pipe outdoor, they asked more than $4000 in total. and they dug out the drain pipe out door near the house. My friend tried Drano, IT WORKED, Problem is simple and SOLVED!!! My friend told them to stop the work. But they CUT and REPLACE the drain pipe with plastic one with in opening which may be convenient for future maintenance. The Drain Doctor didn't correctly diagnosed the problem, didn't solve the simple problem,and ask more than $4000!!!! My old friend solved the problem.

The technician came through even though it was late at night to help me with a clogged kitchen sink. He provided an honest estimate and performed excellent and fast work. I am happy with the service and I would definitely recommend this place.

Been using them for the last several years before was only major plug issues now they are my go to people for any plumbing issues. Usually within estimated arrival time always courteous and tell me what the problem is (yeah I want to see what caused the problem) House is 45+ years so piping is showing its age. They may or may not be the cheapest but they have never let me down so I will continue to use and recommend them.

Drain Doctor came through once again. Used them previously for a drain issue and because of their excellent service, decided to call upon them for some plumbing work. Scheduled Matt (Tech 309) for plumbing work in our laundry room. He arrived on time and immediately got to work once he sized up the situation. He was professional yet personable and thoroughly cleaned up after the job was completed. Their pricing is within industry standard and and will call on Drain Doctor (Santa Clara) for any future plumbing needs.

The technician came to the house quickly, worked efficiently, and provided excellent service. We have used this provider multiple times before and always receive excellent service and value. Highly recommended.

Called the Drain Doctor early this morning and explained that my toilet was not flushing like it should. About 2 years ago they sent a man out who removed the toilet and put a camera down the drain pipe and then cleared the drain. That worked (somewhat) for the next couple of years. After calling they sent a man (#33 Brian) to my house. He never removed the toilet but instead turned on the water in the sink and the shower and found that they were draining properly. He then put a snake down into the toilet and was able to clear the (stuff) and that's what did the job. It works like new again. Got to thank Brian for a job well done and it only cost me $95 compared to $550 two years ago.

I had detected water leakage underneath my kitchen floor. The service technician #51 (Bobby) arrived within 35 minutes after I called. He found the leak at the adjacent bathroom toilet. The leak is fixed. He really did an excellent job. The repair was great. I'm happy with the service and would recommend it.

We called to unblock a couple of drains. No. 51 came and he was quick, efficient and polite. We will certainly call him again when we need plumbing help.

had a bathtub plumbing leak late in the evening so i called up drain doctor to have it taken care of right away the next day. the phone service was very courteous and helpful and promised that i'd have some one at my door early next morning.



the next morning the phone service called me up and told me the plumber was going to be late. ok, no problem. our plumber showed up shortly and began looking at my problem. bobby (#51) got right on the job and found the problem immediately and had no issues fixing it. he even walked me through what he was going to do and gave me tips and suggestions on other issues i had with my bathtub. very helpful.



afterwards, drain doctor even followed up with a phone call asking me how things went.



overall drain doctor is very customer oriented and professional. would work with them again.



the only reason i gave 4 out of 5 stars was because i had the coupon that was available on this website but it was not accepted by the plumber. he indicated that the quote on the contract had already included the discount. not sure if this was true or not.

The plumber arrived within the stated time, did the job well and courteously.

We own a small business, and every time we have plumbing problems, we always call Drain Doctor, especially Chan (#286). He always comes as soon as we call him, and he really does a perfect job!

Called Drain Doctor - they had Frank out here within 35 mins and he had the problem fixed and I had hot water agin for the first time in days. Would use them again!!

At 2:00 am on the Sunday morning, my main line drain got backed-up and no toliets worked and water was coming up and out of my shower and bath tub. I had company arriving at 11:00 am to celebrate my son's birthday. I called several plumbers and so-called "24x7 Emergency" drain fixers, but nobody answered. When Drain Doctor called me back, they said they could have someone at my house first thing in the morning. Not only were they on time, they were 15 mnutes early, which was great considering I had company coming over. The technician, Bobby #51, quote dme a fair price, worked quickly and cleanly, and repaired my drain in half an hour. I had time to clean my bathrooms before my guests arrived and the party was a lot of fun -- Thanks to Drain Doctor and Bobby! I would definately reccomend Drain Doctor and call them again if the problem reoccurs.

We had trouble with two of our toilets, with a bad rumbling in the pipes. The folks at Drain Doctor were great with scheduling and the problem was fixed. Thank you very much!

I called the Drain Doctor on a Sunday because my water heater was leaking. They were able to schedule an appointment that day and came out promptly. The work was professionally done and the plumber had a great attitude. He successfully installed the heater according to code.



I have used Drain Doctor on a number of occasions when I've had plumbing problems and will continue to do so.

I had a pipe leakage in my front yard and Drain Doctor came over in less than 30 minutes, did a fantastic, clean job and the person was very friendly. I will use them anytime again.

Technician arrived 45 minutes after I called. Established the problem right away. Replaced my wax ring and snaked out the problem in less than an hour. Price was a little steep, but overall very quick and efficient establishment...
