Founded in 1937, Westmont College enrolls more than 1,300 students from over 35 U.S. states and nearly 10 countries. The college offers various bachelor s degree programs in the fields of art, biology, chemistry, communication, computer science, economics and business, engineering physics, English, kinesiology and math. Its campus spreads across an area of approximately 110 acres and includes more than 20 buildings. Westmont College has a library that provides over 150,000 books and periodicals. It provides various sports activities that include baseball, basketball, soccer, tennis, volleyball, and track and field. The college is comprised of The Gaede Institute for the Liberal Arts. Westmont College operates newspaper and yearbook clubs, as well as a student association. It organizes intercultural programs and theater events.
