Public Works Department is a part of The City of Santa Barbara in California. It maintains a transportation division that has a downtown parking section that works to increase parking availability for downtown customers and provides a range of parking and alternative transportation options. The division s street maintenance section handles pavement markings, sidewalks, street and traffic signs, and curbs and gutters, as well as the storm drain system. Public Works Department s water resources division is responsible for administering the city s potable, recycled water and wastewater systems.
