Orange County Head Start, also known as OCHS, is a nonprofit organization that empowers children and families throughout the United States. Founded in 1979, it offers child development programs for the educational, emotional, social and health care needs of more than 3,500 children. The organization also provides integrated support services. Orange County Head Start offers child nutrition, parent involvement, transition and literacy solutions. It also provides program design and management services. Orange County Head Start offers vended meal solutions.

I was a former teacher at this agency. My experiences in this agency are both negative and good. Good in a sense that I gained the experience I needed in order to move on, but negative in a sense where staff isn't appreciated, nor respected. Upper management is clearly incompetent and hostile with lower level staff. Human Resources has become part of the issue and it is clear to me that they have become accomplices in the issue. I have seen myself and other staff members experience harassment and intimidation by managers. It is clear to me that Orange County Head Start needs and requires an investigation for fraud, harassment towards staff, and other illegal activities that have been occurring for the last 5 years.
