As an owner of 01 Suburban, when after 130,000 mi my check engine light came on the dealers where not very concerned about informing me that my cat system needed work and when they finally got around to it the cost to replace was only around 1500+, good price in thier opinion-HA! I then took it upon myself to research, and after many run around calls to independent shops that were either unsure, wishy washy, etc--I stumbled upon A-1 mufflers in Santa Ana, THANK GOD! Tiger was forhtright, even over the phone, gave the best informed price (way way lower) as I chose to replace simply one of my cats--(dealer said it was not possible) and it's a year later and all is still good!! I have since been back with other car issues, they kept car over nite at NO CHARGE--could not find the immediate problem and were honest not to make up any other problems. Also checked out my raditor coolant for leaks at no charge! If you are looking for straight forward honest people and straight honest prices, you must check out A-1, you will also become a loyal customer!! They have a quaint waiting room where you will meet an array of many dedicated customers that come from all over, and have only good, good things to say about Tiger and his crew and you will too!!!
