Do Not waste your time. We've been coming to Sanibel/Captiva for years every summer. Have never encountered a more rude individual than the manager at the Island Cinema. We went to the theater because of bad weather. After waiting more than 30 minutes past the time for the movie to begin, a staff member came into the theater and announced that they were not able to get the projector system working and they would have to give out rain-checks. We explained that we were on vacation and would be leaving the next morning and would like our money back. He said that the manager would not allow for any refunds. When we asked the manager for a refund she stated "I don't have to do anything for you, it's not my fault the equipment won't work." She told us that we could read their refund policy on our way out. To top it all off, their policy statement did not even address equipment failure or anything similar to the current situation. Fortunately the credit card company agreed with us and credited our account.
