I often go to sonic for Happy Hour half price drinks after classes. I have learned to ask if they are still serving Happy Hour before ordering because if it is near 4 o'clock, or God forbid 4:01, Happy Hour is over a drinks are a rip-off. I have also learned to pay with exact change because any silver less than a quarter the car hops tip to themselves.Today I visited sonic for lunch. Firstly, Happy Hour was over and my cell phone read the time to be 3:58. I got drinks elsewhere but still ordered a meal. The total was $9.71 and any idiot would know that the change is $10.29 especially if it is your job. But even to be sure they could carry a cheap calculator on their trays. After fiddling with the cash she handed me $9.25. I corrected her and briefly argued but she was persistent in her ignorance. I gave in and left with my meal and a $1.04 tip.I don't mean to sound like a jerk but this happens time after time again and I hear others compiling of the same thing.
