They rebuilt my transmission, and installed a new case (housing) for $1200 out the door. I'm pushing 20,000 miles later, and it's still running great!They are good people to know. You'll get a good price for honest work.

I decided to try transmission specialties after I was told by another shop that I needed a new transmission for my BMW and that it would cost nearly $5,000 to replace. After hearing that, I had my BWM towed from that shop (they said it was not drivable) to Transmission Specialties for service which quoted an estimated cost for transmission replacement at $900.Transmission Specialties inspected my car twice from top to bottom, ran the diagnostics, and test drove my car. After completely checking out my car they found nothing wrong with my transmission. Transmission specialists did not charge me anything at all for the inspection . They spent half the day inspecting my car and they said there was no charge because they did not 'repair' or 'replace' anything. I'm not sure exactly what they did to my car, but it is fully drivable and it drives 100% better than before I took it in.I am so thankful for their honesty and integrity. I will definitely return for any repairs that I need for my BMW in the future and I am recommending them to everyone I know who needs car repair services. In an age where customer service is on the endangered species list Transmission Specialties shines. Gino and Michelle go out of their way to take care of business and that's impressive. They have repaired our Honda and Volvo Transmissions back to factory spec and went beyond the required task and smoked the competitors on pricing. If you're thinking like we were as to why these repairs have to be so high, think no further. These folks deliver a quality service for the right price and they are GREAT people. I purchased a transmission for my ford explorer. The transmission runs great and i have a 1 year or 12,000 mile warranty incase of any problems. They have good customer service, clean shop and very good price for only having one person doing all the work. I paid $650 for a rebuild tranny. It looks & runs like new. i had called a different place before and they wanted to charge me $1500 or more. so i can say i got a good deal over all. It has been 6 months now n still running great. I would tell everyone about Transmission Specialties.
