Very compassionate and caring man he made sure then I was taken care of

Dr Chen and Shane are the best. Dr Chen’s staff is great, also!!

My right leg was numb due to the hip injection. I sat in his waiting room for 2-1/2 hours waiting for feeling to return. In the end Dr Chen got a wheel chair to get me down to our car and then Dr Chen and Shane followed us to our house and helped to get me inside and comfortable. I have never had a doctor perform that kind of service. EXCELLENT. Thank you Dr Chen

Dr. Chen is the best when it comes to actually listening to you and involving you in your care. He puts the decision-making in your hands after offering all options and his recommendations. I have had many procedures done on my spine, Radiofrequency Nerve Ablation being the most common, and most beneficial for me. Dr. Chen has now performed two sets of RFA on me, and it was so easy with very little pain and discomfort. We were having casual conversation throughout the whole procedure because of how little pain I had- and now that part of my back feels amazing. He has restored a large portion of my quality of life. The whole staff is very kind and always on top of it, always two steps ahead of you and your needs. I could not recommend Alta Pain more!

I had a couple pain specialists prior to Dr Chen; but nothing actually changed until I met him. You can’t go wrong trusting your care to him and his staff. Shane, especially, is caring and helpful.

Timely, concerned, not hurried

Before I went to Dr. Chen my previous treatment was to just give me a injection and see how it goes. If it didn’t help somehow it was my fault.
Going into Dr. Chen they spent a lot of time with me from the beginning to figure out best treatment plan. They also adjust the treatment plan as you go, so they make sure they’re doing everything they can to help relieve your pain. Thanks to Alta pain they keep me on my two feet so I can work and do things I enjoy, instead of being on my back miserable. I would refer these guys to anyone. Best in town!! The office staff is the best to work with also because my schedule is all over the place. They’re are always happy to accommodate me and get me scheduled. Very happy I have Dr. Chen and staff to help me!! Great people who care about you!!

I was really nervous, then Dr Chen allowed me to talk about my favorite horror films. He really put me at ease and distracted me from the pain. He truly cares about his patients and it shows. he made me feel so much better about having the procedure done. I will definitely feel comfortable having the procedure done again next year. Alta Pain Clinic is lucky to have Dr Chen on staff. The patients are even more grateful for his kindness and amazing bedside manner. Thank you Dr Chen for helping me through a difficult situation.
