My experience with the Thurber Law Offices was exclusively with Mr. Melvin Irvin who assists clients with Claims for Disability at Social Security. I contacted Mr. Irvin when I was considering entering a claim for a disability with Social Security. Mr. Irvin and I had an (free) initial meeting. When he decided my case had merit, I hired him. The fees were $5,300 (2002-2006) as limited by law. It was the Best Decision I ever made! I learned that an individual citizen has almost no chance against the Social Security bureaucracy to File, Decipher, Pursue, Overcome, and Win a good case. It took over one year to persevere and win my case and Mel Irvin led the way. Then, a judge made a mistake that underpaid me over $25,000. The appeal process took two years and cost me NOTHING. We won that case too! Mel Irvin is honest, a great communicator, tireless, and a total winner. The system is stacked against the individual. To win at Social Security, you need Mel Irvin.
