08/07/12 RM135 - I left the ro...

08/07/12 RM135 - I left the room @ 7:45am returning 3:30pm & room was not cleaned. I stayed & left again @ 4:30pm. We returned once more @ approx 5:20pm - room was still not cleaned. The person cleaning rooms stated that he did not have a key?! Really?! ALL that time?! So, we were there only to change & leave again. When we returned @ 6:32pm, the room was finally cleaned but I had to go to the front desk for more soap. I did not ask for shampoo replacement since we didn't need it but that was not replaced either.

There are no microwaves and/or refrigeration in any of the rooms?! This was the worse of all the La Quintas we have ever stayed in.

Side note: an old sickly but friendly male cat & one skiddish kitten were homeless & living off the kindness of customers there for the past 2 wks. It was ASSUMED that they lived in the neighborhood behind the bldg. I called the local shelter & they stated that the manager would need to rent a live trap & they would pick up the cats. It was better than finding them run over or starving because no one THAT DAY would feed or water them. I notified the front office & was told that manager was informed. It did not seem to be a priority that the inn would be liable for any customers that were bitten or scratched by them. I am in hopes action was made..............
